What have you done with Jesus this week?

Of course reading the bible and formal prayer is important, but there is so much more. Reading the Bible is like reading Jesus' blog and praying a prayer is like sending him a text message. Wouldn't it be awesome to actually hang out with Jesus as you would with a bro? Unlike bros, Jesus is always there with you. You can practice the presence of the Holy Spirit wherever you are. He is with you when you take test, when you're in a boring class session, and every lonely night. Jesus transcends the Bible and seeks a deep, intimate relationship with you.

As people in relationship with Jesus, we really don't need any other common interests than both being in love with Jesus. One of the most fruitful ways to have fellowship is tell what you have done with Jesus, what He has taught you, or what you have heard from Him.

And I admit that I fail to do this. This whole concept is something I am still trying to learn and plan to implement with my bands and friends. I hope to achieve a deep relationship with Jesus, but it will take time and I will fall away many times, but I will keep getting up and wipe off the dust, because Jesus means that much to me, and He is the Great Savior.
